Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing and using the Sparkle Planner Add-on ("Add-on", "we", "our", or "us") for Google Sheets, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Add-on.

2. Description of Service

Sparkle Planner is a Google Sheets add-on that provides:

• Pomodoro timer functionality
• Task tracking features
• Sticker insertion capabilities
• Content and checkbox management tools

3. Google Workspace Integration

3.1 Required Permissions

The Add-on requires the following Google Workspace permissions:

• View and manage spreadsheets that this application has been installed in
• Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications
• Connect to an external service

3.2 Google's Terms

Your use of the Add-on must also comply with Google's Terms of Service and Google Workspace Marketplace Terms of Service.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Add-on only for:

• Legal purposes
• Personal or business productivity
• Tasks within Google's acceptable use policies

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass the Add-on's functionality
• Use the Add-on to violate any laws or regulations
• Distribute, sell, or lease the Add-on to third parties
• Remove or alter any Add-on attributions or notices

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

• The Add-on, including all original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and protected by international copyright laws
• Stickers, companion images, and visual elements are our intellectual property

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Add-on within Google Sheets according to these Terms.

6. Third-Party Services

The Add-on uses:

• Google Fonts
• Font Awesome icons
• External image hosting for stickers and companions

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Add-on

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Posting notices in the Add-on
• Updating the Google Workspace Marketplace listing

10. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any part of the Add-on
• Implement new features or remove existing ones
• Update functionality as needed

11. Termination

11.1 By Users

You may terminate your use of the Add-on at any time by:

• Uninstalling it from Google Workspace
• Removing it from your spreadsheets

11.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Add-on:

• For violations of these Terms
• As required by law
• For technical necessity

12. Data Usage

12.1 Your Data

• All data remains in your Google Spreadsheet
• We do not collect or store your personal information
• We do not access your spreadsheet content

12.3 External Resources

We only load visual resources from:

• sparkleplanner.com
• Google Fonts
• Font Awesome CDN

13. Support and Updates

13.1 Technical Support

• Support is provided on a best-effort basis
• No guaranteed response time
• Support channels will be specified in the Add-on documentation

13.2 Updates

• The Add-on may be updated automatically through Google Workspace
• Updates may include feature changes, improvements, or bug fixes

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Morocco], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
